The National Schools are responsible for training and upgrading of all volunteers, and ensure the technical standardization of rescue maneuvers across the country. All volunteers are required to follow a training plan that includes different training levels, certification and periodic maintenance checks.
The Cave Rescue technicians, speleologists of proven experience and ability, all provided with the basics of emergency first aid medical service, are able to provide, with their constant technical updating and training, their competence and professionalism not only in case of emergency in hostile environments such as caves or canyons, but also in areas affected by natural disasters such as earthquakes and floods.
